Contact Shirene Hansotia

Shirene Hansotia is the Executive Director of Charleston Legal Access and earned her Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from the Charleston School of Law. She also holds a Master in Public Policy and Administration from Michigan State University. She has dedicated her career to criminal justice reform advocacy, public service, and expanding access to justice. Her background includes serving as a public defender in Charleston County, criminal justice policy counsel for the ACLU of South Carolina, and federal intelligence roles.
