Scott E. Wright is a partner at Scott Wright, Attorney, LLC, providing legal representation to clients throughout Central Ohio. His legal practice encompasses criminal defense, family law, personal injury and accident claims, estate planning and probate, and professional license defense.
Wright completed a Bachelor of Science degree at The Ohio State University in 1984 before earning his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio, in 1989. He was admitted to the Ohio State Bar in 1989. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio (1989), the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit (1989), and the Supreme Court of the United States (1994).
In his personal injury practice, Wright advocates for individuals involved in motor vehicle accidents and drunk driving crashes, assisting injured clients and families in seeking financial recovery. His civil work includes managing insurance claim disputes, medical expense recovery, and wage loss claims. His criminal defense practice handles driving under the influence (OVI/DUI), drug offenses, theft, embezzlement, and financial misconduct matters. In domestic relations, he assists clients with divorce, child custody, and related family law issues.
Wright is certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He served as President of the Central Ohio Association for Justice from 2015 to 2016. He has also been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyers honoree.
