Roger R. Soroka was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and relocated with his family to Cleveland, Ohio, at eight years old. He attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting in 2004. He then relocated to Columbus, Ohio, to pursue his legal studies at Capital University Law School, earning his Juris Doctor in 2007.
In late 2009, Mr. Soroka established Soroka & Associates, LLC in Columbus, Ohio. Although his legal career initially concentrated on criminal defense and commercial litigation, he subsequently redirected his focus toward advocating for individuals and families facing catastrophic personal injuries or the wrongful death of loved ones. His practice concentrates heavily on complex commercial vehicle crashes, tractor-trailer collisions, bus accidents, non-emergency medical transport litigation, construction site injuries, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord damage, negligent security, and sexual abuse claims.
Mr. Soroka is licensed to practice in all Ohio state courts, the State of Georgia, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, while also representing clients in federal and state litigation across multiple jurisdictions nationwide.
Throughout his career, Mr. Soroka has received several professional distinctions.
