Nicholas Pasquarello is the founder and principal attorney of NP Immigration, a Columbus, Ohio-based law practice dedicated exclusively to immigration law. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Pasquarello moved to Columbus in 2008 to attend The Ohio State University and has made the city his home ever since.
Pasquarello’s path to the legal profession was strongly shaped by his background in community organizing and grassroots activism. During his undergraduate studies at Ohio State, he initially engaged in labor campaigns supporting campus workers. Through his activism, he developed a deep awareness of the complex legal and personal challenges faced by immigrants seeking lawful status or struggling against deportation. A pivotal influence on his journey was his close partnership with the late Ruben Castilla Herrera, a prominent Columbus organizer for immigrant rights and social justice. Working together for seven years in community advocacy inspired Pasquarello to pursue a legal career as a direct avenue for defending non-citizens.
Pasquarello enrolled at The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law in 2017, earning his Juris Doctor in 2020. Following his admission to the Ohio bar in 2021, he established NP Immigration to provide client-centered representation across a comprehensive spectrum of immigration matters. His practice focuses particularly on removal and deportation defense in Immigration Court, as well as affirmative and defensive asylum claims and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals. Additionally, his firm handles family-based visa petitions, consular processing, waivers, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), Temporary Protected Status (TPS), T and U visas, VAWA applications, DACA, naturalization, and legal remedies addressing the immigration consequences of criminal convictions.
