Marie J. Taraska is a Chicago-based attorney with over 27 years of experience practicing family law and defending Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) matters. She earned her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from DePaul University College of Law in 1997 and began her career as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Cook County. Ms. Taraska represents families through initial investigations, temporary custody hearings, and trial proceedings across Cook, Lake, DuPage, and Will counties. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association Family Law section.
