Katherine G. Gettys has nearly 30 years of legal experience in the Midlands area. She is a graduate of Erskine College and earned her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1989, where she was admitted to the South Carolina Bar that same year. Following law school, she served as a judicial law clerk and worked as a public defender before serving as an assistant general counsel in state government. In 2014, she established Gettys Law Firm LLC, focusing her practice on probate, estate, and related matters.
