Kara Burgess is an elder law attorney at Northland Elder Law and a lifelong Kansas City Northland resident. She earned her undergraduate and master's degrees in psychology before earning her law degree from UMKC School of Law. Practicing in the Kansas City Northland since 1987, she spent her first 19 years in general practice before shifting her focus exclusively to elder law, asset protection, Medicaid planning, and estate planning in 2007.
