Jeff Cotney received his law degree in 1999 from the University of Alabama, where he served as an Editor of the Alabama Law Review and was a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys as well as the Elder Law sections of the Alabama State Bar and the Birmingham Bar Association. He assists clients with obtaining Medicaid nursing home benefits, planning for future disability using powers of attorney and living trusts, and addressing estate planning issues through wills and trusts.
