Jackie Busbee was raised on a dairy farm in Cope, South Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Clemson University and her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1989. She began practicing law in Aiken, South Carolina, focusing on real estate transactions and gaining experience in business formation, wills, and estate planning. In 1995, she established her own private practice in Wagener, South Carolina, where she serves as the primary practicing attorney while remaining active in the local community and organizations.
