J. Alex Marshall is a partner at DeMent Askew Johnson & Marshall, based in Wake County. He is a 2015 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law at Chapel Hill. Prior to entering private practice, he served for nearly six years as a Wake County Assistant Public Defender, handling thousands of cases ranging from traffic matters to murder. He is admitted to all North Carolina courts and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
