Diecelis Escano is the managing attorney at Escano Law in Providence, Rhode Island. Since 2007, she has represented clients before Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals, and USCIS. She began her career in New York City, New Jersey, and the Washington D.C. area handling complex asylum and criminal immigration deportation cases. Born in the Dominican Republic, she immigrated to the United States as a lawful permanent resident and became a naturalized citizen in 1991. She is a graduate of Boston College and Seton Hall University School of Law, and is admitted to the New Jersey Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
