C. Gary Hicks is a founding partner of Ryan, Hicks, Cumpton & Cumpton, LLP. Born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1956, he received his Bachelor of Arts from Samford University in 1978 and his Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law in 1981. Mr. Hicks practices in tax-efficient estate planning, complex trusts, trust administration, and international client issues. He is admitted to the Alabama and Florida State Bars, and is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys. He has co-authored two books and authored academic papers.
