Contact Robert E. Melvin

Robert E. Melvin is the managing attorney of Melvin Law Group PLLC. Since 2021, his practice has focused exclusively on immigration, visa, and citizenship law. Previously, he spent 12 years as a litigator and 12 years serving as a diplomat and Vice Consul with the U.S. Department of State with assignments at U.S. Embassies abroad. He graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law, made law review at the University of Houston Law Center, and served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He is licensed in Texas state courts, federal courts, and before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
