Thomas A. Sobecki graduated summa cum laude from the University of Toledo in 1978 and from the Northwestern University School of Law in 1981, where he was a member of the Law Review. He is a 22-year United States Army veteran and retired Colonel who served in the Judge Advocate General's Corps. Admitted to the United States Supreme Court, Ohio, and Illinois bars, he has practiced employment and civil law in Toledo since 1987.
